Bobtail Cats

Yesterday, Camryn threw an amazing and barely death-defying tantrum before school. On her way out to the car she slammed the door going into the garage with all her 10 year-old might and in the process chopped off Hinckley's tail. He had to have the part that remained surgically amputated and now wears a cone of shame.

That is the animal news of the day. Do I have the right to cut off one of Camryn's fingers? A toe? What is appropriate in this situation?

She wears the cone of shame!

...and so should Camryn?

I'll bet Camryn is just horified that she did such a thing. Children never think through their actions, but this one will haunt her. Is she alright?

Oh man, this is a childhood classic tale. You know in fifty years Camryn will still be reminded about the time she chopped off the cat's tail. :)

Well, shouldn't it be her butt? It is the thing she has closest to a cat tail to cut off, unless she inherited Jaymee's butt. In which case...there's nothing to be done for it.

Hinckley looks like Presley.
