PHEEEEEWWWWWWWW!

I have been keeping something from you. I've been scared. I have been having trouble breathing the last couple weeks and have had to stop exercising. I couldn't get up the stairs without feeling like I was suffocating. It wasn't like before and that made me feel better but I was feeling a tightness in my chest. I thought it was probably not a big deal but always and probably forever I will have this scary doubter in the back of my head whispering,"cancer is back. cancer is gonna gitcha!" (He is spooky, huh?) Anyway, I went in an got a full scan today and cancer IS NOT back. Phew! I have a condition called Radiation Pneumonitis... maybe not spelled just like that. It's like pneumonia, but not from an infection and it probably won't get worse. It'll either get better on its own or I'll have to go back on steroids (just in time for baseball season!). Let's all pray that it'll go away on its own because I hated the steroids more than anything.

So anyway, now that everything is fine, let's all eat some krispy kremes.

Ya big jerk. Don't keep things like that from your FAMILY. But I'm glad you're okay. I remember the non-sleeping steroid nights, so I hope you don't have to do that.

Let us pray and fast and cheer you on lady. Don't do all of this alone. I am so glad it's not back.

My, I understand why you got scared. So glad to read it was nothing (well, not "nothing", but compared to cancer I guess it WAS "nothing"...?).
Take care of your self - I guess your life right now is pretty stressed because of the house and all that - so please remember to find time to relax, too :-)

I keep your name on the temple roll weekly, even though you are better. Habit I guess. We need all the worries to go away, too. Your treatments were pretty intense. It just takes time to get over all the effects, I guess. Love you.

Oh man! That is a bummer because I love racing you in Nike plus. Take it easy and no extra stress.

I hate that we didn't know that and you had to go through that alone. I'm so glad it's pneumonia (sucks enough on it's own...but it's not cancer)

I think about you a lot shel, I just SUCK at showing it. I'm glad your doing better. I'm happy that Mason has his blue dress. We'll pray for no more steroids.

Shelby-
Hey. I found you through Katie Price's blog. We were on the same drill team in high school...not at the same time...but I new of her. We have lots of mutual friends...and she is a very sweet girl. I enjoy looking at both of your blogs:)

I also know Katie because she made out with my boyfriend when I was like 16....ha ha ha. It devastated me at the time..., I totally dumped him for it...I love laughing at it now!!!

You are an amazing person...and should write a book. I love your sense of humor...you always make me laugh. Thanks for being so real...and for sharing your thoughts with "us" even though we're all strangers to you.

p.s. I laughed so hard I cried when you potty trained your son...and he finally won his blue dress. I even made my husband read about it:)

Panic mode set in at the beginning of that paragraph. A big phew! Just think, with boy hair and steroids you could go far!
