If you would have told me a week ago that tonight I would be on my knees giving tearful thanks that my daughter had Hodgkins disease, I would have told you were crazy, but that is what it is and treatment should totally take care of her. She
never wavered in the least in her faith and is an example to us all.

I am glad you are there right now. I am sure it helps a lot. Lots of love. We know a little of what you are all going through.
Shelby, There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and your sweet little family. Although this doesn't seem fair, it is the challenge that you have been given. Boy does it make the rest of us do some reflecting and soul serching. I don't believe that I could have faced this with such dignity and humor. I know that you have been given that great sense of humor and strength to get by in times just like this. What an amazing young women you are. Take care, Love Mona
Chris,
You don't know me, but I work for Bazzill and have another connection with your family. My sister and brother-in-law are Lee and Annette Sevy (you were in the same ward together in Glendale) She said to tell you hi and she is praying for your family. Also, I grew up with Karen (Gilliland) Welman. I knew Bruce very well also. I now live in Doug and Mart's ward and walk a couple mornings a week with Marti, so I hear the updates about Shelby. What a small world. My thoughts are with you and your amazing family. Much love, Mona Johnson
